Module 1

Testing out conductive materials to light up LED lights. Exploring with makey makey as well as Aluminium Foil, conductive thread, and copper tape.

Activity 1

testing out a simple circuit, acting as a switch by connecting both ends of the wires a continuous circuit that will go until the battery runs out of energy  a parallel circuit with a switch created by folding one side a well lit parallel switch circuit one of the first parallel circuits created, however one of it failed due to the copper wire not being continuous/not set up properly a graphite circuit created with a 6B pencil, the better conductive pencil as it is soft creating a ring like structure with the graphite circuit to light up the LED light another graphite circuit, this time being a switch. graphite switch lights up very dim, as it is very weak due to the nature of the conductive material Aluminium foil simple circuit creating another ring shaped circuit with Aluminium, this time it lights up more better than graphite creating a simple circuit using a makey makey first time testing the light, this does not work unless user is touching the switches a well lit LED light by grounding the user and pressing the button creating a switch by connecting both the switch to ground and a button press, and by grounding the LED light while using aligator clips to get power from the computer a working light switch using the makey makey showcasing the switch that is pressing down a piano key a parallel circuit also showcasing the key being press down, it will turn off when the person lets go of the switch testing to see if the switch/LED lights work by itself using aligator clips to showcase conductivity within the wires the conductive wire in a continuous on loop visualizing ways to showcase lights, this is a mockup of a holiday card with a dog using the LED slots of the makey makey to power the LED light finding ways to power lights using aligator clips, light and small conductive wires a LED light in a switch state (user presses it to turn on)
